Tirelo Sibisi is the Executive Vice President of Group Human Resources at AngloGold Ashanti, where she is responsible for People and Organisation Development – a role that entails building a highly engaged, transformed, diverse and productive workforce. She has over 20 years’ experience in the Human Resources (HR) field having been the group HR and CSI Executive at PPC Cement, where she played a key role in the acquisition of the new mining licenses for the company in their operations within the African Continent. Tirelo’s experience includes 10 years in the information technology sector at IBM (South Africa and Paris) and Telkom; making her a well-rounded HR generalist with strengths in talent, succession planning, union negotiations and remuneration.
