Giovanni joined BAT in June 2011

Giovanni Giordano, Group Human Resources Director and member of the management board at British American Tobacco, is renowned for his leadership of large-scale change. He has been widely admired for his business focus, in particular, his ability to connect the HR function’s contributions to important business outcomes. Before becoming Group HR Director for British American Tobacco and a Member of the Management Board, Giovanni worked for Ferrero International as Chief Corporate Officer, leading global HR, Legal and IT. Prior to this Giovanni held a number of HR roles at Procter & Gamble, where he led the extraordinarily successful integration of the Oral B business, a multi-billion category, central to the company’s success.
