Pick n Pay: Pearl Maphoshe

Pearl joined Pick n Pay in April 2016.

Pearl Maphoshe, Group Executive Head of Resources at Pick n Pay, is as vastly experienced in human capital management as anyone can be. She has worked in a variety of industries, from mining and fast moving consumer goods to education and telecommunications. Prior to joining Pick n Pay, she served as Vice President or HR at diversified mining company South32. Before that, she had served as the Group Human Capital Executive of Massmart Holdings She worked in various senior positions in transformation, procurement, Black Economic Empowerment and education at the University of Durban Westville, Telkom, Old Mutual, the National Independent Medical Aid Society and Kwazulu-Natal Society of Chartered Accountants. Pearl has also been a guest lecturer and external examiner on the MBA programme at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
