What is parity Software?

"Parity is the largest implementation partner for SAGE in South Africa and the Middle East. During our implementation of a solution for a customer, we focus a lot on analysing and understanding their requirements before presenting a solution designed to meet these requirements. At Parity we understand the complexities businesses in various industries have to deal with which puts is in a good position to provide exceptional service and advice to our customers.

Why have you signed up as a partner for the HR Indaba?

"The reason we have chosen to become a partner for the Indaba is that we want to interact with people that share our interest and to hear speakers give insights about relevant topics in the marketplace. Obviously, it is a great networking opportunity for finding potential customers, reconnecting with existing clients or finding synergies that can lead to other opportunities in the future. The sheer size of the event  allows us to interact with customers and prospects on a wider platform with potential longer-term relationships to form as a result."

What do you think are the biggest challenges facing the HR profession at the moment?

"I think the biggest challenge at the moment is being able to leverage the technologies in the marketplace to enable HR partners and business executives to have more information available to them in order to improve operational and strategic decision-making. The changes in the technology landscape, with advancement in the implementation of the internet of things, global connectivity, cloud solutions, social HR through social media interaction and big data have created a whole new world in which companies can engage with their employees more effectively.  The challenge for HR professionals, in particular, is to find ways to integrate these new tools into their existing and future HR strategies to enable better management of employees and a greater service offering to the business."
