Donald Khumalo was appointed the appointed as the Chief People Officer of FNB in October 2021. His human resources career began with a brief stint at diamond mining company De Beers in 2002. After spending two years at both Sanlam and ABSA Bank, he moved to MTN, where he was a Senior Manager HR. He then went to Vodacom, where he assumed the role of Executive Head of HR for the Enterprise Business Unit. Donald holds a BA (Hons), and has management and executive business qualifications from UNISA and GIBS. For his role as the Director of Human Resources at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Donald has been nominated for the 2021 CHRO Awards.
