PPS partners with HR Indaba Africa 2018

post-title

PPS gives members a share of the company's profits.

PPS financial planning has joined the list of partners for the inaugural HR Indaba, which will be hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre on 3 and 4 October 2018. PPS provides tailor-made, lifestyle-based financial planning for graduate professionals. With them, not only are members protected, they also get something out that no other company can give them – a share of the profits.

As soon as one becomes a member of PPS, with qualifying products, a profit-share account is automatically opened and, each year, when the company declares its financial performance, all the profit is redistributed to members into their profit-share account.

The pooled money of all profit-share accounts is reinvested and can be accessed by members from age 60 making them a supplement to retirement savings. Also, any insurance claims that are made over the lifetime of membership do not affect what is allocated to the profit-share account.

PPS professionals are made up of a group of well-rounded individuals who have the most versatile and diverse professions. However, knowledge is only part of the success. The company was founded by a group of dentists who realised that if any of them were to suffer from an illness that kept them out of work, their earnings could be severely affected. To protect themselves, they started a society where everybody contributed. These funds would be used to help any member through a period of illness. With this shared value, PPS soon grew to include other like-minded professionals.

As a partner, PPS will have an exhibition stand at the HR Indaba, which will be the largest of its kind in South Africa. It will give HR professionals an opportunity to learn everything they need to know about the latest HR technology, HR strategy, company culture, labour laws, recruitment, employee engagement and HR leadership. It will also bring together thousands of colleagues, suppliers, platforms, universities, specialists, recruitment agencies, CHROs and thought leaders.
