AfrAsia Bank wins two awards for its application of Oracle's HR tech.

The Mauritian Bank has been recognised for undergoing a digital transformation that dramatically enhanced its EVP.

AfrAsia Bank has been recognised as a pioneer in the Digital HR Space by Oracle in the Rubies Awards, which showcase organisations that use their Human Capital Management (HCM) technology to make a significant business impact.  Headquartered in the Mauritius International Financial Centre, and with a representative office in South Africa, AfrAsia Bank was recognised for the successful deployment and implementation of its Human Capital Management system (HCM). The Keep it in the Family Award, which recognises teams that use Oracle HCM Cloud to retain the very best talent, went to AfrAsia Bank head of HR and change management Maureen Treanor who says it was great to see AfrAsia being globally acclaimed as a pioneer in the Digital HR space for its record implementation of 9 HCM modules in just nine months. 

“We’ve worked as one team across the business to bring together all the necessary resources to make it the success that we witness today. I’m proud of my team, my colleagues & AfrAsia Bank for leading the way in terms of the digital transformation journey we have embarked on,” says Maureen.

A global peer-driven programme, the awards acknowledge HR entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions in their company, investing in technology to improve talent identification and retention, career development and succession planning using Oracle HCM. AfrAsia Bank is proudly the first SADC/African client of Oracle to have successfully pioneered HCM on cloud in the Mauritian banking sector. 

Days later event the Rubies, which were held in Las Vegas, AfrAsia Bank also won the Cloud for Millennials Award from Oracle France’s Club Utilisateur, once again recognising their successful deployment and adoption their HCM clould solution.
