Dolores holds an MSc in Education Degree from the University of Eastern Illinois, Chicago and various Management Programmes through INSEAD, Harvard Business School and Wits Business School.

Her new role will see her report directly to Altron CEO Mteto Nyati, who believes that Dolores's appointment will be key to the organisation's turnaround strategy, which places people and culture are at the heart of it.

"With her extensive and diverse in-depth management experience in human capital, Dolores will drive the executive responsibility for people development, top talent recruitment and retention, ensuring our people work in an environment that enables them to thrive and reach their potential," said Mteto in a statement about Dolores's appointment.

The company's turnaround strategy began last year shortly after Mteto's appointment when the company announced was looking for acquisitions to strengthen its technology operations in areas such as biometrics and healthcare, while also exiting some of the industries in manufacturing were not considered to be a core focus.
