Raisibe has swapped green for red after resigning from her role as Nedbank CFO.
CHRO Awards judge Raisibe Morathi has resigned as the Nedbank CFO and will be joining Vodacom as the new group CFO with effect from 1 November.

I look forward to leading a high-performing finance team, driving the function’s strategic digital transformation and contributing to the future success of the group,” says Raisibe in a statement from her new employer.
Raisibe, who has been on the CHRO Awards panel of judges since the awards' inception in 2019, took up the reins as CFO at Nedbank in September 2009 and was charged with driving transformation in the finance division. She has held senior positions in banking and insurance for the past 19 years and, before joining Nedbank Group, she was an executive director and CEO of Santam Ltd.
She also previously held several executive positions at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa Limited, her last position being chief operating officer. She has worked in various finance positions for HSBC, African Merchant Bank, Pikitup and Prilla amongst others.
Raisibe is a chartered accountant with a certificate in advanced management from INSEAD in France, a B.Com from the University of Venda, and a higher diploma in taxation from Wits University.
