Cricket body CSA is considering criminal action against fired CEO Thabang Moroe

Eye Witness News reported on Tuesday that Former Cricket South Africa (CSA) CEO Thabang Moroe is facing the possibility of criminal charges being laid against him. He was dismissed last August having been found to have filled key vacancies, including that of HR manager, without following proper processes.

CSA’s Human Resources Committee is in the process of determining the most suitable penalties for employees implicated in a forensic report that highlighted governance concerns.

Moroe is also accused of costing the organisation over R500,000 and breaching the Company’s Act a dozen times.
