Lyreco selects Workday to accelerate its digital HR transformation

post-title

Lyreco is one of the top three office supply distributors in Europe, with over 9,000 employees.

Lyreco Group, a worldwide distributor of office supplies and workplace products, will now use Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to improve the efficiency of its processes, enabling better decision-making with access to real-time data and accelerating its digital HR transformation.

Founded in 1926 by Georges-Gaston Gaspard in the Valenciennes area of France, the group operates in 25 countries with a reach into over 42 countries with its partner network. The company, which is regarded as among the top three in Europe, delivers an annual turnover of 2 billion euros. This can be attributed to the company's customer focus, exceptional logistics service, and strong values, shared by 9,000 employees.

Nicolas Arroum, chief people officer for Lyreco Group, says the company wanted a powerful system to support its transformation and modernise its HR function and related processes, including talent acquisition, talent development and talent retention. “With Workday, we found a platform to digitalise our HR function and provide the best experience for our people,” he said.

It also makes it easier to identify, find, develop, and retain key talent, and underwriting roles to help drive growth.

Workday country manager for France Thierry Mathoulin was proud to have been involved in the digital HR transformation of a company like Lyreco. “It will offer managers optimal visibility and allow them to advance their human capital management function and make strategic decisions at any time,” he said.
