MTN South Africa has appointed Tebogo Maenetja as CHRO

Tebogo succeeds Nhlanhla Qwabe who has since started a new venture.

MTN South Africa’s recently appointed CHRO Tebogo Maenetja is seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in senior/executive leadership roles within various industries, ranging from financial services and IT, NGOs and energy.  She holds a Masters degree in Industrial Social Work from the University of Witwatersrand, and a certificate in Executive Development from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

As a strong generalist with an established track record of developing and delivering fit-for-purpose HR interventions aligned to strategic objectives of the business, Tebogo describes her approach to as pragmatic taking into account the macro economic, social and political contexts within which businesses operate today. 

Prior to her appointment, Tebogo held roles as the executive director of HR at EOH Holdings, and HR director at BP South Africa, Group Executive Head of HR at Telesure Group where she has remained in her capacity a non-executive director. 

Tebogo succeeds Nhlanhla Qwabe who has since started a new venture.
