Nedbank appoints Deborah Fuller as Group HR Executive

Deborah is passionate about talent, leading sustainable diversity and delivery of superior business performance through a meaningful human capital agenda.

Nedbank has appointed Deborah Fuller as Group Executive. Deborah has 24 years of Human Resource experience of which 17 years have been spent in the Financial Services sector, including Retail, Business and Investment Banking.  She has held a number of senior Human Resources leadership roles in other large South African banks since her return to South Africa in 2010.  Prior to this, while living in the UK, Deborah held a number of European and global Human Resources specialist and generalist roles at General Electric.  Deborah has a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from Rhodes University. 

Deborah has M&A experience which may soon come in very handy as Nedbank is one the four South African banks shortlisted as potential buyers to participate in the second phase of the sale of Mercantile Bank, which is currently owned by Portuguese State-owned banking group Caixa Geral de Depósitos SA.
