Logistics company Rohlig-Grindod has appointed Pauline Legodi as its chief human resources officer. Pauline joins the company after having spent eight years with JSE-listed supply chain company. Pauline brings a wealth of experience at all levels of human resource management and is responsible for aligning HR strategy with corporate strategy.

Prior to Cargo Carriers, Pauline worked as the national employee relations manager at G4S Secure Solutions and Daimler Chrysler, where she was the HR Business Unit Manager.

Pauline has become a friend of the CHRO SA community, attending the summit on HR technology where she said that, when it came to introducing artificial technology and robotics to the workplace, people simply needed to be reassured that their companies would not replace them with machines moment's notice.

"People want to be able to provide for their families, as long as they feel that they will be along the way," she said.

Pauline holds an LLB degree from the University of South Africa (Unisa) and a BA (Social Work) degree from the University of Fort Hare.
