The opportunity
Promoting and selling both print and online media for CFO South Africa (CFO.co.za) and CHRO South Africa (CHRO.co.za)
Exhibition partnerships for the Finance Indaba Africa and HR Indaba Africa.
You will be:
- Approaching potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means
- Helping marketers and sales executives use the various platforms to improve market penetration, brand awareness and direct sales to relevant audiences
- Constantly honing and delivering a skilled sales pitch to potential clients
- Facilitating successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company
- Maintaining the CRM system for the benefit of all
- Tracking media purchases to ensure that it is completed accurately and on time
- Maintaining excellent relationships with all clients in the executive's portfolio
Your experience
You have a proven track record in sales and understand the fundamentals of good sales processes. Your experience includes digital platforms with a good understanding of digital marketing and campaign architecture. You possess outstanding communication skills, are capable of quickly improving business processes. Your previous work experience could be in digital sales or event sales including negotiation or engagement with large corporates.
Your verbal and written English is perfect, your social skills are excellent, you have a degree or postgraduate qualification. Please note, we are looking for professionals with a minimum of 3-5 years experience who are curious, driven and flexible.
