Are you an HR executive? If so, join us at CHRO Day, a full-day networking and learning event that promises to be one of the highlights of your year. This event will bring together the most influential and innovative CHROs in the country to exchange ideas, share best practices, and learn from each other.
Our keynote speaker, Jos Dirkx, is an award-winning media and communications advisor, author, and World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer. With experience spanning 15 countries, Jos has become an expert in innovation and creativity and will be sharing her insights on why great ideas die and how leaders can leverage collective intelligence to outshine competitors.
Also on the line-up will be 4 Day Week South Africa director Karen Lowe who will be discussing the first local pilot of a 4-day workweek and what it has revealed about the appetite for such a radical change, as well as the potential benefits and drawbacks of this model. Transnet chief of people management and learning Itumeleng Matsheka and Eskom CHRO Elsie Pule will shed light on what it takes to implement and maintain progressive HR practices in embattled state-owned enterprises.
Cell C CHRO Juba Mashaba will weigh in on the best practices for successfully combining cultures and operations after mergers and acquisitions, while Sanlam CHRO Sana-Ullah Bray will share his thoughts on why communities of belonging are the key to fostering deep connections with employees.
There is simply too much in store to fit all of it into this invite. Suffice it to say, we have a blockbuster programme in the works, complete with fine dining and a chance to enjoy mimosas and breathtaking views from the summit of Africa’s second-tallest building.
