Anisha Archary joined Old Mutual as the HR Director for the Group’s Life Assurance business. Now the Group HR Director at Old Mutual Emerging Markets, she oversees the people strategy for over 30 000 employees in more than 15 countries, including South Africa, the rest of Africa, Latin America and China. Her previous positions include HR Head for the Woolworths Foods Group and Head of Talent at the Woolworths Group. In addition, she has 28 years of progressive leadership experience across South Africa's largest transport parastatal, having been the HR manager at Spoornet and Portnet and later going on to become the executive vice president at South African Airways in charge of portfolios such as Global Passenger Services, Product and Customer Services. She has been a Non- Executive Director of UAP Holdings Limited since August 19, 2015. Notably, amongst several achievements, she was the winner of the Transnet Exceptional Leaders award for business acumen and was also trained in the Disney Approach to Quality Service in Orlando, Florida. She has a Master's degree in Psychology and has completed Leadership Programmes in Switzerland, South Africa and Harvard Business School.
