Candice Watson has been the group executive of human capital at AECI since 2020.

Candice has over 15 years experience in human resources.

Prior to joining AECI, she was at British American Tobacco, starting in the role of area head of talent and organisational excellence before taking on the role of human resources director. She was previously the human resources director at Pernod Ricard, which she joined after serving as human resources business partner for Africa at Lenovo. Candice has held the role of human resources managing executive at Barloworld, human resources consultant at Standard Bank and human resources graduate at South African Breweries.

Candice is currently reading for a PhD through the University of Cape Town. She holds an MBA and PDBA from the University of Pretoria and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Johannesburg.

For her role as group executive of human capital, Candice has been nominated for the 2021 CHRO Awards.
