Celiwe Ross has been the human capital director at Old Mutual since 2018.
Celiwe joined Old Mutual in 2017, starting as the executive assistant to the chairman and CEO in 2017 before taking on the role of chief of staff later that year. Celiwe started her career as a mine planner at BHP Billiton in 2002, before taking on the roles of business development manager and marketing manager. Between 2011 and 2015, she held senior investment banking roles within the Standard Bank Group in South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, covering the mining, energy, real estate and infrastructure sectors.
Celiwe has a B.Sc from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a qualified mining engineer and MBA graduate.
