Kholo Kunene currently serves as the Africa human resources director and board executive for Nissan South Africa, where she leads the HR strategy across two legal entities and African markets, including Egypt.
Prior to this, she served as director of people & capability and B-BBEE leader for Southern Africa and emerging markets at Mastercard.
Her previous roles include executive head of human resources at Vodacom, site HR manager and organisational pillar leader before being promoted to senior at Procter & Gamble, and a stint as founder of Lubanzi Human Capital Solutions.
She has also worked as an HR manager at Sasol and HR co-ordinator and generalist at Anglo Platinum.
Kholo holds a BCom honours in industrial and organisational psychology from the University of South Africa and a management advancement programme from Wits Business School.
