Kim Usher has been the group human resources director Africa at Illovo Africa since 2016.

Kim was previously the human resources director at ABI, the soft drinks division of SAB Miller, which is now a subsidiary of AB-InBev. It was there that she played a significant role in the integration with ABI and SAB Miller over a period of three years. In her current role, she assumes ultimate responsibility for the group human resources function.

Kim holds a masters in Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa and an MBA from Henley Management College. She is a member of the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the Psychological Society of South Africa, as well as an associate member of the Association of Personnel Services Organisations and the Society for Industrial Psychology of South Africa. Kim is also a registered psychometrist and industrial psychologist.

For her role as group human resources director Africa at Illovo Sugar Africa, Kim has been nominated for the 2021 CHRO Awards.
