Mark Smith was appointed Head of People for Oppenheimer Generations in January 2019.  Before this he was Divisional Director of Human Resources at Truworths. He has more than 20 years’ experience in HR leadership. He also spent 12 years at Nedbank where he held positions as the Head of HR for Retail and Investment Management and Head of Group HR Strategy and Delivery. He worked at Eskom where he was the Head of HR at the Koeberg Power Station.

He has a BA Honours in Psychology from the University of the Western Cape.
