Marlene Badul is the group human resource executive at Italtile.
Before taking on her current role in 2026, she spent nearly 15 years at DHL Supply Chain, where she served as the vice president of talent, learning and development, DEIB CoE EMEA. Prior to this, she was the head of HR for Africa and HR director for South Africa at the same organisation.
Earlier in her career, she held a roles at DHL Supply Chain, including HR manager for life sciences and healthcare, technology, and automotive. Before her tenure at DHL, she worked as a psychometrist at Siyeluleka Consulting and as a sales and marketing manager at Damelin.
Marlene holds a BA honours in industrial psychology from the University of South Africa and a bachelor of social science in industrial psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is also registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa's Board for Psychometrics.
