Nametsegang leaves Altron after a four-year stint at the company.
Altron has announced the resignation of its group executive: human capital, Nametsegang Maruping.
Nametsegang joined Altron Rest of Africa, a division of Altron, four years ago as head of human capital. She was then appointed as group executive: human capital for Altron with effect from 1 February 2021, responsible for leading and providing human capital strategic oversight across Africa and the Middle East with a key focus on Botswana, Kenya, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa.
Altron's chief executive Mteto Nyati says Nametsegang has, over the years, been instrumental in creating human capital policies, structures and processes that embedded the Altron culture and ways of working.
“In the last year she led employee wellness and assisted with guidance as we navigated the Covid-19 pandemic. She also led in the successful implementation of the learning platform, Udemy, and executive coaching for identified individuals across the group,” says Mteto.
“Nametsegang worked with the human capital leadership team to accomplish various projects and initiatives ranging from the Altron Leadership Masterclass series, the embedding of our Altron values, holistic wellness, and the updating of our human capital policies,” Mteto added.
“Please join me in thanking Nametsegang for her contribution to Altron and to wish her well in her future endeavours.”
