Ericsson appoints Sena Erten as new head of people for MEA

Sena will drive Ericsson’s people transformation in the Middle East and Africa region.

Ericsson has appointed Sena Erten as vice president and head of people of Ericsson Middle East and Africa. Sena brings 20 years of human resources and executive experience to Ericsson, and has demonstrated a passion for people development and building diverse and inclusive cultures.

The role entails driving Ericsson’s people transformation in the region and is expected to guide the business towards a world-class employee experience that is people-centred, adopting the latest digital technologies, and leading the way in driving company culture.

Commenting on the new position, Sena says, “I am excited to join the Ericsson family and be part of the team, realising Ericsson’s vision of an intelligent, sustainable and connected world. Fadi Pharaon, president of Ericsson MEA says people are at the centre of everything the company does and that Sena’s extensive knowledge and experience will further strengthen its people function.
