Jeannet Modise becomes CHRO of Sanlam Investments

After spending four years at Santam Insurance

Jeanett Modise has joined Sanlam Investments as the Chief HR Officer. In her previous role, where she spent four years as e Executive Head of HR and Transformation at Santam Insurance, Jeanett lead and managed the strategic and operational design and implementation of people and transformation strategies. She says she is pleased about the work that she and her team has done in the past three years in building and sustaining a work environment that is conducive for the Santam people to thrive and contribute to the successful execution of the Santam business strategy.

"This was done through the design and implementation of innovative people practices that included integrated talent management, learning &  development, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, a strong employee value proposition. These were underpinned by the company values which are closely aligned with Insurance good and proper, the Santam Way. Santam has exceptional people and was awarded the Top Employer certification again for 2018," she says.

"In response to the dynamic business environment and workforce of the future, we have also started with the implementation of various technologies including a cloud-based integrated talent management solution to enhance the employee experience and engagement further."

On what she is most looking forward to as she begins a new role, Jeanett says she excited that to have another opportunity to contribute to the success of an amazing business, through our people and culture.
