Webber Wentzel appoints Nametsegang Maruping as human resources director.
Webber Wentzel has announced the appointment of Nametsegang Maruping as its new human resources director.
A strategic and seasoned human resources executive with multi-industry global experience, Nametsegang has worked in multinational organisations across different industries including IT, financial, pharmaceutical, FMCG, and state-owned enterprises.
Webber Wentzel says she will assist the firm in creating and nurturing an agile environment that engages, develops and promotes its people.
She was previously group executive, human capital at Altron, where she was accountable for human capital across all the divisions.
At Altron, where she spent four years, Nametsegang was instrumental in, among others, leading and providing human capital strategic oversight across Africa and the Middle East.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology and industrial sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand, and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
