Nerisha Kistan joins Canon EMEA as HR director

Nerisha will be looking after the people's agenda at Canon South Africa as well as in associated countries.

Canon EMEA has appointed Nerisha Kistan as an HR director.

Nerisha was the chief people officer at Contactable, a computer security service organisation for nearly two years.

Before that, she held the position of HR executive at GladAfrica - a multidisciplinary built environment consultancy group from 2019 to 2022.

According to her bio, Nerisha boasts over 19 years of experience - 12 years being at the exco level - within the HR field in various industries both local and international.

She has held several HR-related positions at other leading companies including Woolworths, Powertech IST, CBRE Global Workplace Solutions and KPMG.

She highlights her ability to architect and drive change as well as lead in a global, matrixed environment as a key strength.

Nerisha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from the University of South Africa as well as a postgraduate degree in business administration and management from Mancosa
