The restaurant chain mourns the loss of its top HR practitioner.
Graeme Kiewitz, executive director and group human resources executive at Spur Corporation, passed away on 18 January, following a Covid-19 related illness.
Graeme joined the franchise restaurant chain in April 2019 and was appointed as an executive director in October 2020. In a statement, Spur described him as, “A highly accomplished human resources practitioner with extensive experience in transformation, empowerment, training and development. He served on the company’s board risk committee and social, ethics and environmental sustainability committee.”
The statement said his passing leaves a huge void in the company and that he would be missed for his warmth, empathy, tenacity and loyalty.
