Altron appoints Amanda Harvey acting group executive for human capital

The company veteran will act in the role previously held by Pamela Xaba.

JSE-listed company Altron recently announced on its website that Amanda Harvey has been appointed as its acting group executive for human capital in March 2023.

Amanda, who joined the company in 1991, has held numerous human capital positions within the group.

In 2014, she was appointed as head of human capital for Altron Secure Transaction Solutions, comprising ACS, NuPay, Delter, MediSwitch, MedeMass and MedeServe. She ascended to lead the human capital function of Altron FinTech comprising ACS, NuPay and Delter in 2021.

Amanda holds a BA in Industrial Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand.

On 3 February 2023, Altron issued a press release noting that Pamela Xaba had been appointed  group executive: human capital, after acting in the role since May 2022. Prior to this announcement, Pam held the head of human capital role at Altron subsidiary Netstar.

At the time Pam said, “I look forward to building a high-performance culture that recognises and rewards talent so that we can deliver to our various stakeholders.”
