Beiersdorf has appointed Cebile Xulu as HR director for Southern Africa, bringing more than two decades of experience across FMCG, manufacturing and global organisations.
Cebile joins Beiersdorf following a nine-year tenure at Mondelēz International, where she most recently served as senior HR director for sub-Saharan Africa.
Prior to that, she held the position of people lead sub-Saharan Africa, and earlier served as HR director, Sub-Saharan Africa, and as HR director for South and Central East Africa.
Before Mondelēz International, Cebile spent over eight years with The HEINEKEN Company in a series of senior HR roles. She was appointed leadership & capability development manager for Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Prior to this international assignment, she was the HR development manager at the company.
Her earlier career includes roles as HR manager at the Darnall Sugar Mill at Tongaat Hulett, senior consultant and trainer in organisational development at A-Cubed Institute, HR manager at Sara Lee, and HR practitioner at Masonite.
Academically, Cebile holds an honours in industrial psychology from the University of Zululand.
