Besa Muthuri has been nominated for the 2023 CHRO Awards

Besa, who is also an ordained pastor, has more than 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles.

Strategic human capital management executive at the Agricultural Research Council (ARC), Besa Muthuri has been nominated for her role in HR.

Besa recruits the best and brightest talent while making sure employees flourish in ARC’s research culture. She is responsible for leading ARC’s human resources strategy and people operations for all ARC’s campuses in South Africa.

She holds an undergraduate degree in public administration, an MBA in corporate social responsibility, a Master of Science, and a Master of Arts in industrial relations from the University of Nottingham and Queen’s University, respectively. Besa also serves on a number of community boards.

The annual CHRO Awards recognise CHROs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions and award them for outstanding performance and leadership. Billed as the Oscars of HR, the ceremony will host top CHROs, VIPs and business partners for an exquisite evening of networking, entertainment and fine cuisine.
