Capitec Bank's Nathan Motjuwadi nominated for CHRO Awards

Nathan was a teacher before becoming an HR professional that now has more than 20 years' experience. 

Capitec HR Executive Nathan Motjuwadi has been nominated for the 2020 CHRO Awards. The ceremony, which will be held on 26 November 2020 at Inanda Club in Johannesburg, will give HR directors and CHROs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions alike an opportunity to be recognised and rewarded for their exceptional performance and leadership.  Nathan started his career as a teacher and head of the department (English and History) from 1993 to 1995. He also lectured part-time at the University of South Africa’s School of Business Leadership.

He now has more than 20 years’ experience in the HR/training environment specialising in union negotiation, branding and identity, mergers and acquisition, salary arbitration, international law, talent management, employee assessment, performance management, separation and redundancy, and project management. 

Prior to joining Capitec Bank, he was employed by XPS Services, Cyborg Systems, Coca-Cola (SA) (based in South Africa and London), and Danone SA.
