CHRO Elanie Kruger joins the race for 2024 CHRO of the Year Award

Elanie assumed her role at Tsebo Solutions, where she leads the people management agenda across 25 African countries with a diverse workforce of more than 32,000 employees. The Group celebrates over 50 years of excellence as a leading provider of integrated workplace management solutions and has recently, under her strategic leadership, achieved the elite Top 20 companies to work for accolade, as a certified Top Employer in South Africa.

Prior to joining Tsebo, Elanie served as the regional HR director for G4S Africa, responsible for 25 countries and 110,000 employees, including challenging regions like the Isle of Jersey, Afghanistan, Iraq, and South Sudan.

 Elanie, with her extensive HR experience of over 30 years, has made significant contributions across four diverse industries. Her strategic roles at G4S, Ceridian, Aspen Pharmacare, and Eskom, along with her 15 years of board-level experience, demonstrate her profound understanding of organisational dynamics and people management.

Elanie, a registered senior industrial psychologist, holds an M. Com (Industrial Psychology) from the University of Johannesburg and a one-year certification programme on managing change and transformation from Pepperdine University, School of Business, L.A (USA).
