CHRO Mmabatho Tlale joins list of nominees for the 2026 CHRO Awards

Mmabatho Tlale has been nominated for the 2026 CHRO Awards for her role as chief human capital officer at Zeda.

She joins a cohort of HR leaders competing across nine award categories, including the headline CHRO of the Year title.

Mmabatho has served as chief human capital officer at Zeda since 2024. She previously held leadership roles at Nebula Logistics, where she served as managing director and chief human capital executive.

Before that, she was acting chief human capital executive at Zeda and spent a decade in HR executive and senior leadership positions at Transaction Capital.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a credit control supervisor at Tracker and as a quality control analyst at First National Bank.

Dubbed the “Oscars of HR”, the CHRO Awards continues to celebrate leaders who raise the bar for people leadership in South Africa across listed companies, large corporates and government institutions.
