The CHRO South Africa Cape Town Summit returns to the Mother City on 14 April.
Cape Town's HR leaders will step into the elevated calm of 180 Lounger, trading end of day fatigue for energising real, unfiltered conversations about what it means to lead in the age of digital acceleration.
Themed Digital Dexterity, the evening will explore how AI is no longer knocking at the door, but on everyone’s lips inside the organisation, influencing decisions, reshaping roles and challenging HR leaders to respond in real time.
This summit is where HR leaders come to do exactly that. Not just to understand AI, but to interrogate it. To ask the difficult questions around trust, data and human impact, while still pushing forward with innovation that matters
The calibre of voices in the room reflects exactly that. Attendees will hear from the likes of Bridget Makhura, CPO at Clicks Group; Laura James, director for people & organisation at Mulilo; Sana-Ullah Bray, group executive for human capital at Sanlam; and Rizwana Butler, group executive for HR at Capitec Bank.
Speaking to CHRO South Africa in a previous interview, Rizwana Butler shared how the real differentiator is not just access to technology but how confidently people engage with it. “Technology is evolving rapidly and Capitec has embraced it at every level. Quite frankly, given technology’s rate of change, we can never say that we are done evolving along with it. We need to stay relevant and, in doing so, continuously grow our people at the same pace that we grow our business,” she said.
And, as always, the evening opens and ends in true CHRO South Africa style, with networking, drinks, canapés, and the kind of easy exchange that often sparks the most valuable insights between HR leaders under the same roof.
