Yongie Ntene steps into CPO role at Alpha Pharm Group

Alpha Pharm Group has appointed Yongie Ntene as chief people officer.

Before joining Alpha Pharm Group, Yongie served as talent acquisition lead at RMB, where she spent just over a year.

She previously spent more than two years at Liberty Two Degrees, where she was chief people and culture officer. She also served as lead specialist: human capital business partner at the company.

Yongie previously held the role of lead specialist: human capital business partner at STANLIB.

Earlier in her career, she spent more than four years at Absa Group, where she held roles including manager: projects in human resources and reward, chief of staff for CIB transaction management, business manager for Corporate Investment Banking legal, and resourcing consultant.

She previously worked as a senior human resource practitioner at Murray & Roberts and as a recruitment consultant at IOCORE Global Resourcing.

Yongie began her career at Investec as a securitisation and CIM consultant in private banking.

Academically, Yongie holds a bachelor of social science in industrial sociology and organisational psychology from Rhodes University and a postgraduate diploma in enterprise management, specialising in marketing management, from the University of Cape Town.
