Zutari has appointed Sigrid Barry as group chief people officer
Before joining Zutari, Sigrid served as head of organisational development at Dis-Chem Life.
She previously spent more than 16 years at Standard Chartered Bank, most recently serving as managing director and head of HR for South and Southern Africa.
Sigrid also held several other HR roles at Standard Chartered, including regional HR business partner for financial markets, corporate finance, CIC and commercial clients across Africa, senior HR relationship manager for Global Markets Africa, interim head of HR for WB Africa, and HR relationship manager roles in South Africa and London.
Earlier in her career, she held several HR roles at Citigroup in London and Switzerland, including HR generalist, HR coordinator/analyst and benefits and payroll coordinator.
Sigrid holds a bachelor of commerce degree in HR management and business management from the University of Stellenbosch and an MBA in HR managementfrom St Mary’s University.
