Daniel Olifant has been nominated for the 2025 CHRO Awards for his role as the chief human capital officer at the South African National Blood Service (SANBS).
Daniel joins the list of HR leaders among this year’s CHRO Awards contenders.
Daniel started serving at SANBS in 2019 and held roles as acting executive for human capital and senior manager of learning and development.
Prior to SANBS, he was head of learning and development at Liberty Group South Africa, and served in dual roles as group customer experience specialist and learning performance consultant at Hollard Insurance.
Dubbed the “Oscars of HR”, the CHRO Awards continue to honour the country’s most influential HR leaders across listed companies, large corporates and government institutions.
This year’s celebration will take place on 12 November at The Polo Room in Sandton, where nine awards will be handed out, including the headline award of the night – the CHRO of the Year title.
