Njabulo Mashigo this year took on the role of human resources director at Vodacom South Africa.

She has 18 years of experience in the human resources management value chain, nine years of which have been in senior leadership roles.

Dieter Veldsman 2021 CHRO of the Year
Dieter Veldsman announced his decision to step down as Momentum Metropolitan’s group human capital executive on 15 August 2021. He has moved to the Netherlands to join The Academy to Innovate HR.

He was named 2021 CHRO of the Year for his work at Momentum Metropolitan, which he joined in 2018.

Mechell Chetty joins Maersk
Mechell Chetty takes on the role of regional head of human resources, Africa for Ocean & Logistics at AP Moller-Maersk, the largest international shipping company.

In her new role, Mechell plans to continue with her focus on diversity and inclusion and building African leaders for the future while also shaping the future of work to enhance the employee experience.

Donald Khumalo joins FNB
Donald Khumalo took on the role of human capital executive at FNB, focusing on FNB and Wesbank as part of Firstrand, following the business transformation and creation of the retail and commercial cluster.
