Former Heineken HR director Yvonne Tshepo Mosadi is the latest 2023 CHRO Awards nominee.

The annual CHRO Awards recognise CHROs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions and award them for outstanding performance and leadership.

Yvonne boasts more than 18 years of experience in the profession and also sits on the SABPP (South African Board for People Practices) board.

She began her career at Heineken South Africa in 2016 as head of HR business partner for supply chain and support functions, as well as employee relations lead. She rejoined the company in 2020 as an HR director.
She has also held various HR leadership roles in different companies including Imperial Logistics, Hyundai Automotive South Africa and RCL Foods.

In 2020, she rejoined Heineken in 2020 as an HR director and left the organisation this year.

Speaking about the importance of HR in an organisation, Yvonne said most of the time it is the little things that matter and make an impact. “Beyond your knowledge and skills, you have to show your value through little things, like always being available to put out fires as and when they arise.”

Yvonne holds an MBA from Mancosa, a human resources management degree from Unisa, and a certificate in labour dispute resolution from the University of Stellenbosch. She has also successfully completed the management development programme at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Billed as the Oscars of HR, the CHRO Awards ceremony will host top CHROs, VIPs and business partners for an exquisite evening of networking, entertainment and fine cuisine.

The CHRO Awards will be taking place on 14 November 2023. Reserve your seat here.
