Jeanett Modise has been nominated for the 2025 CHRO Awards for her role as the chief human capital officer at Absa Group.
Jeanett joins the list of industry leaders among this year’s CHRO Awards contenders.
Before serving as the group human capital officer at Absa Group, Jeanett held senior HR executive roles at several blue-chip companies including Sanlam Group, SAP, AngloGold Ashanti, Industrial Development Corporation, Mutual & Federal and Hewlett Packard among others.
Dubbed the “Oscars of HR”, the CHRO Awards continue to honour the country’s most influential HR leaders across listed companies, large corporate and government institutions.
This year’s celebration will take place on 12 November 2025 at The Polo Room in Sandton, where nine awards will be handed out, including the headline award of the night – the CHRO of the Year title.
