Kedibone Letsika has been nominated for the 2026 CHRO Awards for her role as people and culture director and company secretary at JTI.
She joins a cohort of HR leaders competing across nine award categories, including the headline CHRO of the Year title.
Kedibone has served as people and culture director and company secretary at JTI since 2024, following her previous role as legal director for the SEA Cluster and company secretary at the organisation.
Before joining the people function, she served as legal director at The Heineken Company South Africa, senior legal counsel and company secretary at The Heineken Company, group legal adviser at Reunert, legal counsel at Heineken, associate at MNS Attorneys, lecturer in private law at the University of Johannesburg, and candidate attorney at Hogan Lovells.
Dubbed the “Oscars of HR”, the CHRO Awards continues to celebrate leaders who raise the bar for people leadership in South Africa across listed companies, large corporates and government institutions.
The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 24 November, where winners across multiple categories, including the CHRO of the Year title, will be announced.
