Khabonina Ramoupi has been nominated for the 2025 CHRO Awards for her role as the group chief people officer at AECI.
Khabonina joins the list of HR leaders among this year’s CHRO Awards contenders.
Khabonina took the role as AECI’s group CPO in 2023. Prior to this, she served as CPO at Transnet Freight Rail. She has also held senior HR positions including group HR director at Omnia Group, group HR director at Babcock International Group, and executive HR business partner for Foods and Supply Chain at Woolworths.
Dubbed the “Oscars of HR”, the CHRO Awards continue to honour the country’s most influential HR leaders across listed companies, large corporates and government institutions.
This year’s celebration will take place on 12 November at The Polo Room in Sandton, where nine awards will be handed out, including the headline award of the night – the CHRO of the Year title.
