LRMG sponsors HR & Technology Award at 2025 CHRO Awards

post-title

LRMG’s partnership with CHRO South Africa in sponsoring the 2025 HR & Technology Award is a natural alignment. The award recognises the CHRO’s expanding role in shaping the convergence of technology, talent and business outcomes – a space LRMG has long believed defines the future of work.

“Our commitment to shaping the future of work through strategic partnerships with executive HR leaders made this an easy decision,” says Ricky Robinson, founder and CEO of LRMG. “We recognise that CHROs have become key decision-makers driving enterprise-wide transformation and workforce readiness. Sponsoring this award gives us a platform to stand alongside CHROs who are leading the charge in shaping the future of work, where technology and human potential come together to deliver real organisational impact.”

For LRMG, the HR & Technology Award is especially meaningful because it reflects the heart of what the company does and it honours CHROs who have crafted and executed business-aligned IT strategies, stewarded technology-driven change and used data and analytics to benefit both their organisations and their people.

“Our mission and thought leadership live at that intersection of HR and technology – where people, performance and digital enablement meet,” says Ricky. “Our purpose is to help organisations connect these elements to build workforce readiness and performance. In our work, we see technology and culture as the two key accelerators of readiness – technology enables speed, scale and insight, while culture drives belief, behaviour and belonging. We celebrate CHROs who are doing exactly that – aligning HR, technology and strategy to deliver business impact.”

The partnership with CHRO South Africa supports a broader dialogue on how CHROs can build workforce readiness and lead transformation in the digital era. “It also enables us to listen and learn about the practical challenges CHROs face in the fast-paced reality of their roles,” says Ricky.

“We partner with CHROs to close the gaps that hold readiness back, whether those are skills, inspiration, visibility, or agility,” explains Ricky.

When asked what quality will define the next generation of CHROs, Ricky doesn’t hesitate.

A culture of continuous learning

“Strategic agility,” he says. “The CHRO role is evolving from operational management to strategic leadership. The best CHROs are those who can anticipate change, harness technologies like AI and align HR initiatives with business outcomes. Strategic agility empowers CHROs to lead technology-driven transformation, foster a culture of continuous learning and ensure their organisations are ready for the future of work.”

Ricky adds that the most forward-thinking CHROs are not just building resilience, but antifragility – the ability to grow stronger through disruption. “The pressures facing organisations today, from AI to skills shifts to constant change, aren’t going away,” he says. “The opportunity lies in learning from those stressors, adapting faster, and using them to build a culture that becomes stronger because of them, not in spite of them.”

“Our partnership with CHRO gives us access to a vibrant network of executive HR leaders,” says Ricky. “It enables us to deepen relationships, share insights and co-create solutions that advance workforce readiness across South Africa and beyond. We’re proud to stand alongside CHROs who are not only embracing change but driving it.”

For LRMG, sponsoring this award is more than a symbolic gesture of recognition; it’s part of a broader journey to collaborate and work alongside HR leaders who are transforming their organisations, shaping the future of work and building workforce readiness.
