Mammei Hlehlisi-Galo has taken on the role of HR director, MillBake at Tiger Brands.
She joined the large FMCG in 2012 as an HR manager, before taking on the role of HR general manager in 2020.
She has therefore worked across several business areas including bakeries, beverages, culinary, and home and personal care.
After completing a BTech in human resources management at the University of Pretoria, Mammei joined Spoornet as an HR officer. In 2004, she joined Aspen Pharmacare as an HR consultant, before moving to ADT Security Services. She subsequently fulfilled the role of HR consultant at Unilever, Grindrod and Parmalat SA, before joining Liberty Life as an HR generalist.
In her new role at Tiger Brands, Mammei will lead the people agenda for the milling and baking business.
