Masenyane has been nominated for the 2025 CHRO Awards for her role as group executive of HR at PPS.
Masenyane has held the position at PPS since 2019. Before that, she served as human capital director at Hyundai Automotive South Africa and executive head of HR at Regent Insurance.
Masenyane started her HR career at Nedbank in 2008 where she spent six years in various senior HR roles in the retail division.
Prior to her HR days, she spent nearly a decade at SARS, and held roles including head of small business and tax and customs attaché in the UK. Her earlier career includes market research at Ask Africa among others.
Dubbed the “Oscars of HR”, the CHRO Awards continue to honour the country’s most influential HR leaders across listed companies, large corporates and government institutions.
This year’s celebration will take place on 12 November at The Polo Room in Sandton, where nine awards will be handed out, including the headline award of the night – the CHRO of the Year title.
