Vodacom’s executive head of HR Njabulo Mashigo has been nominated for her extensive role in HR.

Njabulo Mashigo, Vodacom South Africa's HR executive head, has been nominated for the 2022 CHRO Awards. She is an international HR leader with a track record of partnering with CEOs, management teams and board members to drive business performance and transformation, and is passionate about people and organisational development.

Her current role includes leading the people agenda of Vodacom’s largest market, South Africa.

Her career began at an early age of 19, after she completed her studies at Rhodes University. She became one of the youngest graduates that Unilever had ever employed at the time.

She has, since then, worked for a number of blue-chip organisations that are considered leaders in the human capital space.

She is a member of Vodafone senior leadership team, a board member of Vodacom South Africa ,and a non-executive director and remuneration committee chairman of Mezzanine and Xlink.

Njabulo holds an MBA Degree from GIBS and has completed Heineken's Global Talent development programme through INSEAD Business School.

The annual CHRO Awards recognise CHROs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions, and award them for outstanding performance and leadership. Top CHROs, VIPs and business partners will attend the event to enjoy networking, entertainment and a scrumptious dinner.
