Nolo Thobejane has been nominated for the 2025 CHRO Awards for her role as chief people, culture and purpose officer at KFC Africa.
Nolo joins the list of HR leaders among this year’s CHRO Awards contenders.
Nolo’s journey at KFC spans nearly two decades, during which she has held several senior leadership roles, including head of sub-Saharan Africa, Africa ops director, and Africa HR manager.
Before joining KFC, she worked at Famous Brands as a franchise consultant and held managerial roles at Woolworths and McDonald’s, where she gained more expertise in operations and people development.
Dubbed the “Oscars of HR”, the CHRO Awards continue to honour the country’s most influential HR leaders across listed companies, large corporates and government institutions. This year’s celebration will take place on 12 November at The Polo Room in Sandton, where nine awards will be handed out, including the headline award of the night – the CHRO of the Year title.
