Virgin Active’s people director, Shireen Johnson, joins the list of leaders competing for the CHRO of the Year title.
Shireen Johnson has been nominated for the 2024 CHRO Awards for her work as the people director of Virgin Active.
CHRO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in HR, recognising their hard work in the past year at listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions.
Shireen started her HR career as an HR consultant at Old Mutual Investment Group in 2001, and then went on to join Brandhouse Beverages in 2008.
Shireen holds a B-Tech HR management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
The 2024 CHRO Awards nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Polo Room in Sandton on 14 November 2024.
